LOI Boost Founder Program

League of Innovators, a registered Canadian charity, runs Boost, a free six-month virtual residency for young Canadian founders who already have paying customers and want to scale. A cohort of 30 to 40 ventures works through six Deep Dive Days on hiring, operations, sales and growth, with peer accountability groups and LOI's national expert network. LOI takes no tuition and no equity.

What you get:

• Six virtual Deep Dive Days from January to June 2027: team building and leadership, operational excellence, marketing and sales, strategic growth and scaling, founder wellness, and vision and legacy
• Small founder-led accountability groups that meet throughout the six months
• Access to LOI's national expert network, optional in-person meetups across Canada and the LOI Slack community
• Sessions with founders and investors who have scaled before; 2025 speakers included Janet Bannister (Staircase Ventures) and the Mid-Day Squares founders
• No tuition and no equity taken: you keep 100 percent of your company and its IP

What you'll do:

• Choose the Scale or Growth stream, matched to your stage
• Attend six monthly Deep Dive sessions, typically 9am to 12pm Pacific on January 28, February 25, March 18, April 29, May 27 and June 23, 2027

• Aged 15 to 30 (the application form says age exceptions are reviewed case by case)
• A Canadian connection: Canadian citizen or permanent resident, living in Canada for at least one year, or a business with significant ties to Canada
• Demonstrated traction and product market fit: paying customers and generating revenue
• Up to 4 co-founders per venture may take part; every co-founder listed must meet the age and Canadian connection rules, and employees cannot join
• Shortlisted founders attend an interview together
• Accepted founders each pay a $250 refundable deposit to confirm their spot
