The International Monetary Fund runs the Fund Internship Program each summer for PhD students in economics. Interns spend 10 to 12 weeks at IMF headquarters in Washington, D.C., working full time and paid on an individual research or project assignment alongside experienced IMF economists, on policy questions that matter to the IMF's 191 member countries.
