About this opportunity

BUILD equips young people with advanced, actionable civic knowledge, skills and networks to effectively advocate for change at the institutional level, well beyond the ballot box. BUILD strengthens your understanding of the front lines of the Canadian democratic system and prepares you to engage with it.

Weekly online modules (2–3 hours on Zoom)
Experiential learning (3+ hours per week)
One‑on‑one mentorship from program coordinators
Training in Canadian democratic systems, advocacy, and political participation

Who can apply

Ages 18–30
Canadian citizen or resident
Little or no prior experience with formal political institutions or campaigns
Commitment of 5–6 hours per week for 14 weeks
