Africa Uncensored, the Nairobi-based investigative newsroom, runs this one-week advanced training with the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Regional Media Programme for Sub-Saharan Africa. It takes place in Mombasa, Kenya from 4 to 8 November 2026 and is built around each participant developing a real investigative story with working reporters, editors and digital forensics experts.   • Open to journalists from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Somalia and other African countries
  • Minimum 3 years of active reporting experience (mid-career and senior journalists)
  • Staff reporters, freelancers, editors and multimedia journalists all eligible
  • Prior investigative or accountability reporting work, or demonstrated interest in it
  • Letter of support from an editor, media organisation or professional referee required
