World Youth Advocates Program

  • Organization: JA Worldwide
  • Type: Fellowship
  • Location: Global
  • Deadline: July 15, 2026
  • Age: 16-29
  • Funding: Not Specified

World Youth for Action is JA Worldwide's flagship youth advocacy initiative for people ages 16 to 29. The program centers on a big question: what should come after the UN Sustainable Development Goals, which wrap up in 2030? Young people from around the world are invited to weigh in, build skills, and help shape what global priorities look like next. The centerpiece is a six-week virtual Youth Advocacy Certification Program, which accepts 50 participants and covers four pillars of advocacy skills, from leading community conversations to driving policy-level change. Graduates earn a certified Youth Advocate credential. The whole initiative builds toward a global Summit in New Delhi, India, in November 2026, where top advocates get to take their work to an international stage. Beyond the certification program, you can get involved as a Youth Contributor by answering three questions on the site, or your organization can join as an Ecosystem Partner to help co-create what youth advocacy looks like in practice. It's designed for young people who want more than a seat at the table, they want to help build the table.
