The Ibrahim Leadership Fellowships identify and mentor the next generation of outstanding African leaders. Each year, three Fellows are placed in executive offices of major international institutions — the African Development Bank (AfDB) in Abidjan, the UN Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) in Addis Ababa, and the International Trade Centre (ITC) in Geneva. Fellows contribute to high-level research and policy design while receiving direct mentorship from the heads of these organizations.
