At the time of application you must meet one of these four education conditions:
Enrolled in a postgraduate degree (a master's or higher) in communications, media studies, graphic design, marketing or a related field
Enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree (bachelor's or equivalent) in a related field
Recently graduated with one of those degrees and, if selected, able to start the internship within one year of graduating
Enrolled in a postgraduate professional traineeship programme and undertaking the internship as part of it
A portfolio of relevant work is mandatory: applications without one will not be considered
A strong, current sense of how content works on LinkedIn, Instagram, X and short-form video, and comfort with social media tools, content management systems, scheduling platforms and basic analytics dashboards
Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite or other design tools, and knowledge of the UN system, are assets
Interest in climate action, energy transition and sustainable development
Excellent written and spoken English; working knowledge of Italian or another UN language is an asset
Office based in Rome, full time, for six months
