About this opportunity

This program identifies and supports African American high school seniors with strong academic records who aspire to earn STEM degrees. It provides scholarship funding, mentoring, and academic support to prepare them for careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Who can apply

Must be African American
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, or legal permanent resident
GPA of 3.0+ (unweighted, 4.0 scale)
Rigorous high school coursework in math/science (including pre‑calculus)
Demonstrated financial need (via FAFSA)
Commitment to pursue a STEM major (biology, chemistry, physics, engineering, computer science, mathematics, etc.)
Application materials: essays, transcript, recommendation letter from STEM teacher or mentor
