Annual global competition recognizing and supporting breakthrough innovations that can transform food systems. Innovation focus areas:

Safe and nutritious food for healthy diets
Sustainable/regenerative practices (including food waste reduction)
Equitable access to affordable, appealing, and trusted food Award levels:
Seed Grants: $25,000 each (up to 8 awards) — for early-stage prototypes or proof of concept
Growth Grants: $100,000 each (up to 3 awards) — for innovations with feasibility and high-impact potential
Grand Prizes: $250,000 each (up to 2 awards) — for scalable, economically feasible innovations with major transformation potential

Who can apply

Eligible applicants: NGOs, non-profits, universities, research institutions, early-stage for-profits, social enterprises
Individuals cannot apply directly (must be part of an organization)
Must demonstrate innovation in at least one focus area, ideally two or three
Must submit:
Organizational profile and financial documents
Project overview and plan (scope, budget, timeline)
Evidence of feasibility (prototype, pilot, consumer studies)
For-profit applicants must be pre-Series A and have assets ≤ $10
