Up to €9,000 EDF Women with Disabilities Leading the Change Grant

The European Disability Forum, the umbrella body for disability organisations in Europe, is funding small projects led by non-profits that advance the rights of women and girls with disabilities across the Council of Europe area. Grants run for six months, from January to June 2027, and can pay for training, campaigns, events, translation or research, with women with disabilities involved in planning and delivery.

What you get:

• Up to EUR 3,000 for a single organisation, or up to EUR 9,000 for a coalition of at least three organisations
• The full grant paid as soon as the grant agreement is signed
• One of around 10 grants from a EUR 30,000 pot for 2027

What you'll do:

• Run activities between January and June 2027 at local, national or European level, such as training sessions, awareness and advocacy campaigns, events, translation of resources on women's rights, or research
• Show how women with disabilities shaped the proposal and involve them in carrying it out
• Make every activity and output accessible to persons with disabilities
• Send technical and financial reports to EDF by 31 August 2027

Key dates:

• Organisations or coalitions of organisations only; EDF does not accept applications from individuals
• Must be an EDF member, a member of an EDF member, or a partner organisation working on disability rights and/or women's rights; the application form asks partners to explain their link with EDF or with an EDF member
• Must be non-profit
• Activities must enhance the rights of women and girls with disabilities, with an explicit gender angle
• Activities must take place between January and June 2027, at local, national or European level, within the Council of Europe area
• All activities and outcomes must be accessible to persons with disabilities
• A coalition must have at least three organisations
