The Pankaj Award to End Conflict is a One Young World award sponsored by Regent Global, recognising young leaders who prevent and resolve conflict around the world. Ten finalists will share USD 250,000 in funding, and one will be named the inaugural winner of the USD 100,000 top prize. What you get: ➤ Cash funding between USD 10,000 and USD 100,000 to scale your peacebuilding work ➤ A fully funded place at the One Young World Summit in Cape Town, 3 to 6 November 2026 ➤ Economy return flights to and from Cape Town ➤ Hotel accommodation in a private room from 2 to 7 November 2026 ➤ All meals across the conference days ➤ Lifetime membership of the One Young World Ambassador Community, a network of 20,000+ leaders across 190+ countries What you'll do: ➤ Submit a Round 1 application before 15 June 2026 showing your impact on conflict resolution ➤ Progress to Round 2 between 28 June and 3 July if shortlisted ➤ Face an independent expert judging panel ➤ Join the inaugural finalist cohort at the Summit in Cape Town ➤ Receive the award at the presentation ceremony in November 2026 The award was founded by Professor Selva Pankaj and Dr Tharshiny Pankaj, who arrived in the UK as refugees of the Sri Lankan civil war. It launches in 2026, with the inaugural cohort celebrated at the OYW Summit in Cape Town, South Africa. Applicants must lead a registered non-profit or social enterprise and hold direct decision-making authority within it.
