About this opportunity

Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL), the international organisation working on clean energy access, is looking for four young changemakers whose sustainable energy solutions are already working on the ground. There is one award in each of four categories: energy access, energy for growth, climate and energy innovation, and digital energy. Winners are flown to Vienna to receive their award on 26 January 2027 at SEforALL's International Day of Clean Energy event.

What you get:

An Energy Hero Award, presented at SEforALL's International Day of Clean Energy ceremony in Vienna, Austria, on 26 January 2027
Return economy flights, five nights' accommodation and visa support
Mentorship and networking through SEforALL's Youth Roundtable and Mentorship Cafe
Training in personal branding, media engagement and communications
Professional photography, video storytelling and features across SEforALL's channels
Curated meetings with potential partners, investors and energy sector leaders
Ways to stay involved through SEforALL's youth and innovation networks

What you'll do:

Pick one of four categories: Energy Access Innovation, Energy for Growth, Climate and Energy Innovation, or Digital Energy Innovation
Complete an online application with short written answers (up to 200 words each) on the problem, what is new about your solution, results so far, how it could scale, inclusion and your own leadership
If you win, attend the programme in Vienna from 25 to 30 January 2027
