Mundus MAPP is a two-year, EU-funded joint Master's in Public Policy run by four universities: Central European University in Vienna, IBEI in Barcelona, the International Institute of Social Studies in The Hague and the University of York. For the 2027 to 2029 cohort, a limited number of Erasmus Mundus scholarships go to the highest-ranked applicants from inside and outside the EU, covering full tuition plus a monthly stipend. There is no separate scholarship form: you tick the funding box in the admission application and submit by 1 December 2026. **What you get:** - A full tuition-fee waiver (tuition is €13,000 a year, €26,000 for the programme) - A monthly contribution of €1,400 for 24 months, up to €33,600 in total, towards travel, visa, installation and living costs - Health insurance for the whole programme, bought by the consortium for all enrolled students - Additional support for students with disabilities, depending on the level of need - A jointly awarded Master of Arts in Public Policy from the two universities you attend **What you'll do:** - Study one year each at two consortium universities in two different countries, on one of four tracks: Global Public Policy (CEU and IBEI), European Public Policy (CEU and York), Political Economy and Development (ISS and IBEI) or Governance and Development (ISS and York) - Complete an internship, usually in the summer between Year 1 and Year 2 - Join a study visit in the spring of Year 1 and a Winter School in Year 2 - Write a thesis report and a thesis, defended in the September after Year 2 **Key dates:** - 1 December 2026, 23:59 CET: deadline to apply and be considered for the scholarship (also the early self-funded deadline) - Referee letters must be uploaded within 7 days of submitting your application - 14 April 2027: first-round decisions, including Erasmus Mundus scholarships, released in the Applicant Portal - 20 April 2027: deadline for appeals - 15 April 2027 (non-EU/EEA residents) and 1 July 2027 (EU/EEA residents): later deadlines for self-funded applicants only, with no scholarship consideration - 31 July 2027: deadline for official academic records - September 2027: programme starts in Vienna or The Hague **More information:** - Scholarship details: https://www.mundusmapp.org/financial-aid/ - Admissions calendar: https://www.mundusmapp.org/admissions-calendar/ - How to apply and the application portal: https://www.mundusmapp.org/how-to-apply/ - The consortium also offers one Institutional Scholarship per track: a 50% tuition waiver with no stipend - Questions: mundusmapp@ceu.edu
