The Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) Scholarship is a fully funded Master's award from Malaysia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, open to graduates from MTCP-eligible developing countries for the September or October 2026 intake at supported Malaysian universities. What you get: ➤ Full tuition fees paid to the host Malaysian university ➤ Monthly living allowance for the duration of your studies ➤ Return economy flight between your home country and Malaysia ➤ 24 months of sponsorship for a coursework Master's, or 36 months for research tracks ➤ A place at a supported Malaysian public or government-linked university ➤ No application fees charged by the MTCP Secretariat What you'll do: ➤ Secure a place at a supported Malaysian university for the September or October 2026 intake ➤ Submit your passport, transcripts, English proof, CV, medical report, two reference letters, and the offer letter ➤ Undertake the Master's full-time and in-person in Malaysia ➤ Maintain satisfactory academic progress and follow the host university's rules ➤ Return home after graduation to apply what you have learned MTCP is Malaysia's flagship South-South cooperation programme and has trained more than 38,000 participants since 1980. The cycle is competitive, only shortlisted applicants are interviewed, and visa and medical costs are borne by the applicant.
