Who can apply

  • Domiciled in one of the 23 listed countries, meaning you have predominantly lived there for the last three years; nationality does not matter
  • Classed as an international student for tuition fees, and self-funded rather than fully sponsored
  • An offer for a full-time, on-campus course at Manchester starting in September 2027 (undergraduate via UCAS, master's via Manchester's own application)
  • Undergraduate: direct first-year entry, working towards a qualification listed for your region (for example A levels, IB, Indian Standard XII, AP, South African NSC or IEB)
  • Undergraduate, Africa: minimum grades of AAA at A level or 36 IB points, or the NCUK, Bridge House or NSC/IEB equivalents in the terms
  • Undergraduate: you must make Manchester your Firm UCAS choice by your region's date
  • Not eligible: Medicine, Dentistry, Architecture, courses with an integrated foundation year, blended and distance learning, and (for undergraduates) anyone who has studied in the UK before
