About this opportunity

The Kenya Community Development Foundation (KCDF), in partnership with I&M Foundation, is running the 2026 Young Innovators Challenge to back youth-led solutions for Kenya's green transition. Sixteen innovators will be awarded across two categories:

What you get: ➤ Up to KES 1,500,000 for individual Young Innovators (6 awards) ➤ Up to KES 5,000,000 for registered youth-led organisations (10 awards) ➤ Backing from KCDF, a community foundation active since 1997, and I&M Foundation ➤ Visibility as a finalist unveiled in 2027

What you'll do: ➤ Submit a technical application and high-level budget by August 31, 2026 ➤ Attach supporting evidence such as videos or pictures ➤ Host review and site visits between September and December 2026 ➤ Implement and scale your environmental innovation in Kenya with the grant
