The James Aryam Scholarships provide full postgraduate funding for refugees residing in Uganda or Kenya, originally from Sudan, South Sudan, Somalia, or Somaliland. Who can apply

Must apply to one of the partner universities for August 2026 intake:
Makerere University
Bugema University
Uganda Martyrs University
University of Kisubi
Uganda Christian University
Scholarships available for taught Master’s and Postgraduate Diplomas in education‑related subjects
Must submit both:
University application (with proof of submission)
Windle Trust International application form
Shortlisted candidates will attend interviews in May 2026 (in‑country or online)
University application fees must be covered by applicants (WTI does not pay these)
In a postgraduate program
Graduate student
