Focus areas:
Mitigation of greenhouse gas emissions
Adaptation to climate change impacts
Conserving natural carbon sinks (forests, wetlands)

Eligibility check (Nov 17, 2025 – Jan 15, 2026)
Organisations submit basic info for review
Confirmation of eligibility by 2 Feb 2026
Full proposal submission (deadline: 17 Mar 2026)
Detailed project idea + budget
Must align with IKI funding areas
Selection results announced later in 2026

Who can apply

Must be a nonprofit organisation or non‑profit‑oriented private company
Must have operated for at least 3 years
Annual revenue between €60,000–€500,000 (average over past 3 years)
Dedicated accounting staff + software‑based accounting system
Projects must be local, sub‑national, or national in scope
Applications must be submitted in English
General Rule:
Eligible applicants must be based in ODA‑listed countries (Official Development Assistance recipients).
Examples of Eligible Regions:
Africa → Nigeria, Kenya, Ethiopia, Ghana, Tanzania, Rwanda, Malawi, Zambia, Uganda, Senegal, etc.
Asia → Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, etc.
Latin America & Caribbean → Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Haiti, etc.
Middle East → Jordan, Lebanon, Yemen, Palestine, etc.
Pacific → Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, etc.
