About this opportunity

A scholarship that brings together outstanding young leaders working in biodiversity conservation, decarbonisation, responsible natural resource production, social performance, and sustainability. You'll get fully funded participation in the One Young World Summit 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa, plus exclusive dialogue with the ICMM CEO, lifelong membership of the One Young World Ambassador Community, and access to leadership development programs including the Action Accelerator and Global Kickstart programme.

Who can apply

Young leaders aged 18-35 at the time of the One Young World Summit 2026. Must be leading inspiring initiatives/projects or driving meaningful change through work or personal life, with proven impact in at least one of: biodiversity conservation, decarbonisation, responsible natural resource production, social performance (community resilience, human rights etc.), or promoting and communicating action on sustainability. Must show willingness to engage with fellow scholarship recipients. Candidates older than 35 may be considered with demonstration of appropriate personal impact, initiative, and willingness to engage.
