Girl Rising, the girls' rights organisation now merged with She's the First, gives girls aged 14 to 22 a formal say in how it is run through its Girls Advisory Council. Members help guide strategy, work with staff and bring girls' perspectives from their communities into key decisions, and two of them sit on Girl Rising's Board of Directors.
