About this opportunity

The EIC Pre-Accelerator is a pilot program offering grants and tailored support to early-stage deep-tech startups in Horizon Europe widening countries. It boosts technology, business, and investor readiness to help ventures secure EIC Accelerator funding or attract private and regional investment. Selected SMEs receive up to €500,000, coaching, and access to the EIC Business Acceleration Services.

Who can apply

Be a single SME or small mid-cap registered in an eligible widening country
Have a deep-tech innovation at TRL 4–6 (validated in lab)
Own relevant Intellectual Property Rights
Present a clear market pathway with milestones and KPIs
Show ambition to scale and secure further investment
Submit a complete proposal via the EU Funding & Tender Portal
