Paid CorpsAfrica Digital Communications Internship

CorpsAfrica, the nonprofit that places young Africans as volunteers in rural communities across 11 countries, is hiring a paid, full time Digital Communications Intern for its Global Support Office communications team. The role is remote and works with the Digital Media Manager on graphics, social media and digital content for CorpsAfrica's global channels. It runs for three months, with the possibility of extension up to 12 months.

What you'll do:

• Create on brand graphics for social media, websites, email, presentations, events, print and fundraising campaigns
• Design infographics, flyers, one pagers and other promotional materials
• Edit and adapt graphics, photos, short form video and copy for CorpsAfrica's social channels
• Schedule social content and monitor comments and inboxes
• Select stories and photos from country offices for the global channels
• Create mockups for CorpsAfrica merchandise and keep the library of communications assets organised

• Must be based in one of CorpsAfrica's 11 operating countries: Côte d'Ivoire, Ethiopia, The Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Morocco, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa or Uganda
• Degree or advanced coursework in graphic design, communications, marketing, digital media or a related field
• Demonstrated experience creating graphics and communications materials (internships, employment, freelance, volunteer or similar)
• Strong proficiency in Canva; Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
• Experience with social media content and basic short form video editing
• Able to create original graphics independently, without relying on generative AI
