Connect & Create, the EU-funded Africa and Europe cultural programme led by the Goethe-Institut and Expertise France with the Institut français, is recruiting 16 young communications professionals in 12 Sub-Saharan African countries. Who can apply

  • Be a journalist, communications professional, content creator, influencer or media host or presenter
  • Be over 18 years old
  • Have two to five years of professional experience in communications, journalism, media or content creation
  • Show a strong interest in performing arts, music and the wider cultural and creative industries
  • Have an active audience and a demonstrated local presence (social media, a local media outlet, a community)
  • Live in South Africa, Benin, Cameroon, Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Uganda, Republic of the Congo, Rwanda or Senegal
  • Be fluent in French or English
  • Apply through the online form with a short CV (PDF, under 3 MB) and a portfolio of up to three pieces of work; applications may be in French or English
