Concordis International is a UK-registered peacebuilding charity that works with communities, governments and armed groups to address the root causes of conflict. Its Programme Interns sit inside the programme teams and do real research and conflict analysis on live peacebuilding work in the Central African Republic, Cameroon, Chad, Abyei, Sudan and South Sudan. It is remote, flexible on hours and time zones, and it is unpaid. What you get: ➤ Direct work with programme teams on live peacebuilding programmes ➤ Training and coaching from senior staff, plus regular careers seminars ➤ Exposure to programme design, monitoring and evaluation, conflict research and proposal development ➤ Reimbursement of reasonable expenses, including a lunch allowance of GBP 5 per day ➤ Flexible hours across time zones, with the option to join team meetings in person if you are in London What you'll do: ➤ Research and analyse the countries where Concordis works ➤ Do conflict and data analysis, media reviews and report writing ➤ Monitor international and regional institutions and grant makers for funding opportunities ➤ Take your turn monitoring the security of teams travelling on the road ➤ Learn new tools and technology as the programmes require
