The America in the World Consortium, a partnership of Duke University, Johns Hopkins SAIS and the University of Texas at Austin, funds advanced PhD candidates for one year while they finish a dissertation on America's role in the world. Fellows live and work at one of the three partner centres, spending most of their time on their own research and writing and taking part in the host centre's programmes. **What you get:** - A competitive stipend for one academic year (2027 to 2028); the amount is not published - A year in residence at Duke's Program in American Grand Strategy, the Henry A.
