About this opportunity

The Cooperation Grants empower youth organisations to engage in policy-making and cross-continental collaboration between Africa and Europe. Grants of 50,000 EURO are available for consortiums of youth-led organisations, with at least one African organisation and one European organisation.

Duration: May 2026 – April 2027

Support includes: • Funding • Training • Resources for policy engagement
Consortium structure: • 2–4 youth-led nonprofits • Must include one AU-based and one EU-based organization • Joint applications only — no solo submissions

Who can apply

Must be a youth-led nonprofit (Trust, NGO, CBO, etc.)
Youth-led:
100% of decision-makers aged 18–35
80% of all members aged 18–35
Entire project team aged 18–35
Must be legally registered with a bank account and governance structure
Must apply as a consortium of 2–4 organizations:
One based in one of these 12 AU countries:
Ethiopia, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somaliland, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe
One based in an EU Member State
At least one partner must have prior experience in collaborative projects
