About this opportunity

The award is designed to help you develop your pilot, invest in evaluation and complete other activities to prepare for scale-up while providing expertise and insights to make reaching more learners a reality.

Supports up to 10 high‑potential non‑profits ready to scale education innovations.
Focus on digital technology solutions (VR/AR, cloud computing, online games, big data, etc.) that improve access and outcomes for marginalised learners.

Winners receive:

Grant funding up to £50,000
Masterclass training sessions
One‑to‑one/group mentoring
Leadership coaching
Professional scaling support

Priority for projects that:

Have reached at least 2,000 learners in the past year
Are community‑led organisations registered and staffed locally
Operate in or plan to scale to countries where Theirworld already has projects

Who can apply

Must be a registered non‑profit organisation
Must have reached at least 2,000 learners in the past year
Must use digital technology to improve education outcomes
Priority for community‑led organisations (local staff, local governance)
Cannot use student/teacher data in AI systems for this cohort (AI considered in 2027)
