Africa No Filter works to shift stereotypical narratives about Africa through storytelling. This twelve month programme, delivered with Comic Relief, backs storytellers in ten African countries who want to explain how climate finance, debt, gender and fossil fuels affect people where they live. Between 15 and 20 storytellers will be selected. **What you get:** - A grant of up to US$4,000 towards your storytelling project, awarded on a $0 to $4,000 range - Training in climate justice, data storytelling and narrative framing - Mentorship, plus direct work with researchers and campaign partners - Amplification of your work through Africa No Filter and its partners - A place in a cohort of 15 to 20 storytellers across ten countries **What you'll do:** - Develop a storytelling idea connecting climate change, debt, gender and fossil fuels - Work with researchers to ground your stories in evidence before publishing - Publish at least four pieces on those themes over no less than six months - Tell the story in whatever form you already work in: video, podcast, article, mural or data visualisation - Stay with the programme across its full twelve months, working in English or French
