Who can apply

  • Age 16–20
  • Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person (refugees eligible; claimants not)
  • Enrolled in or planning to take a short course (≤12 months) between January 27 – December 10, 2026
  • Course must be offered by a registered Canadian provider
  • Not eligible: bachelor’s degrees, diplomas longer than one year, multi‑year apprenticeships, online platforms (Coursera, Udemy, LinkedIn Learning), private lessons/tutoring
  • RBC employees and dependents are not eligible
  • In high school
  • In college or university
