The Young Climate Prize is The World Around's flagship accelerator, selecting 25 changemakers under 25 from anywhere in the world for one-on-one mentorship with leading designers and curators. Cycle 03 applications close June 30, 2026. What you get: ➤ One-on-one mentorship with a world-renowned designer matched to your project ➤ Weekly Design Academy masterclasses with mentors such as Paola Antonelli and Bruce Mau ➤ Travel to New York City to present at The World Around Summit for the three named winners ➤ An automatic three-year fellowship with continued mentorship and resources ➤ Global visibility across The World Around's network of designers, policymakers, and climate leaders ➤ Free to enter and free to participate What you'll do: ➤ Submit a short intro video plus written or visual evidence of impact in English or Spanish ➤ Lead a live, self-initiated climate project as founder or co-founder during the cycle ➤ Participate in weekly masterclasses, workshops, and strategy sessions ➤ Refine your project strategy and storytelling with your mentor ➤ Compete for Young Climate Designer, Visionary, and Voice recognition Cycles 01 and 02 backed 50 innovators from 35 countries on projects spanning waste, materials, energy, food, and Indigenous knowledge. Cycle 03 is run by a 501(c)(3) nonprofit led by curator Beatrice Galilee, with the MillerKnoll Foundation as design partner. Teams of up to three may apply if every member meets the age and contribution criteria.
