About this opportunity

Roles include:

  • Main Coordinator / Deputy Coordinator – lead overall progress, liaise with UNESCO Secretariat
  • Thematic Coordinators – Sciences, Education, Culture, Information
  • Regional Coordinators – Latin America & Caribbean, Asia & Pacific, Europe & North America

Responsibilities:

  • Represent youth‑led organizations/networks in climate action
  • Facilitate collaboration between UNESCO Secretariat and youth constituencies
  • Report on YoU‑CAN activities and implementation

Who can apply

  • Ages 18–30
  • Leadership experience in a youth‑led organization or network active in climate action
  • Availability of at least 2 hours per week
  • Basic knowledge of UNESCO, UNFCCC, Kyoto Protocol, Paris Agreement, SDGs, and related frameworks
  • Proficiency in English (written and oral)
  • Ability to work online with stable internet connection
  • Commitment to inclusivity and multicultural collaboration
