This fellowship strengthens the capability, confidence, and influence of African women scientists to lead climate‑resilient agricultural research. Inspired by the AWARD Fellowship model, it combines leadership development, mentoring partnerships, and technical excellence to position fellows as influential actors in agrifood systems. Fellows engage in mentoring (as both mentor and mentee), leadership and negotiation training, gender integration in climate adaptation, and science communication courses.
