The Zero Hunger Generation (ZHG) Youth Advisory Board is a volunteer leadership body at World Food Program USA where young Americans work directly with WFP USA staff to shape national youth engagement around ending global hunger. What you get: ➤ One-year leadership role on a national youth advisory board at WFP USA ➤ Direct collaboration with WFP USA staff on campaigns, outreach, and programme development ➤ Skill-building in advocacy, communication, event planning, public speaking, and community organizing ➤ National visibility through ZHG campaigns and WFP USA platforms ➤ Volunteer hours letter on request for school, work, or other organizations ➤ Networking with youth leaders, nonprofit professionals, and advocacy experts nationwide What you'll do: ➤ Attend biweekly virtual meetings of roughly 60 minutes across the one-year term ➤ Host or lead at least one virtual ZHG event during the year ➤ Recruit new youth members and expand the ZHG network nationwide ➤ Organize peer-to-peer fundraising and awareness activities ➤ Represent WFP USA as a ZHG ambassador in schools, universities, and on social media ➤ Contribute ideas for new campaigns and youth engagement activities This is an unpaid volunteer role. Applicants must already be active members of the Zero Hunger Generation movement, and those under 18 need parental consent. Selection is by written application followed by two virtual interview rounds with WFP USA staff. Apply through the Youth Advisory Board form before June 14, 2026.
