The YOU(th) CARE for Change is a project co-funded by the EU-DEAR Programme, supporting Youths across 12 countries (8 in the EU and 4 extra EU, in the Med Area) in tackling global challenges. From December 2023 to March 2027, it aims to support the engagement of nearly 300 Youth groups who are interested in embracing, sharing and re-framing the CARE for people and the planet. Benefits include: - Interactive online sessions on climate change, human rights, intersectionality, and gender perspectives - Collaborative design of the CARE Toolkit (guiding youth groups in creating territorial agendas) - Sub‑granting opportunities to support youth‑led actions and campaigns - Stories of activism and case studies exploring collective care, solidarity economies, and intersectional engagement - Networking and advocacy training through youth‑led campaigns and alliances ▶ The total funding pool for sub-granting is approximately €268,000–€280,000. ▶ Grants are awarded to youth-led or youth-focused initiatives in eligible countries. Funding is divided into three categories: - LEARN: €6,000–€10,000 (education & grassroots training projects) - ACT: €8,000–€15,000 (social & ecological community projects) - ENGAGE: €6,000–€10,000 (advocacy & awareness campaigns) ▶ Projects must be implemented in one of the eligible countries: Spain, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Italy, Greece, Czech Republic, Hungary, Albania, Serbia, Morocco, or Tunisia. ▶ Applicants must be a registered legal entity (non-profit, CSO, youth organization, or network). ▶ Applications typically require a partnership structure (lead applicant + co-applicants). ▶ Funded projects usually run for 6–12 months. ▶ A recent call for proposals was open 20 January – 28 February 2026 (previous calls had earlier deadlines).
