The challenge invites innovative solutions that enhance the tourism ecosystem through sustainable practices, inclusivity, and community empowerment. By focusing on these three pillars, the challenge aims to support initiatives that not only create economic opportunities but also promote equality, sustainability, and the preservation of cultural heritage and natural resources. A global call to empower and accelerate startups and scaleups implementing sustainable, inclusive, and green solutions for social impact in tourism and related sectors. Key features: - Focus areas: • Community-based tourism • Inclusivity & accessibility • Green projects and climate resilience - Support includes: • Funding (amount varies by project) • Pilot opportunities with UN Tourism partners • Mentorship and education support from Sommet Education Foundation institutions (Glion, Les Roches, École Ducasse, Indian School of Hospitality) • Visibility through UN Tourism and Plug and Play networks • Branding and communications support via TORNUS Agency
