About this opportunity

Designed to strengthen government capacity in developing countries, the fellowship trains officials directly involved in implementing the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) and related instruments. Fellows undertake policy‑relevant research and receive advanced training at UN Headquarters in New York and partner institutions.

Who can apply

Age 25–45

Ocean and climate change policy
Strong command of English (program delivered in English)
Proposed study must directly support national ocean policy/programs
Must be free of other obligations during fellowship period
Working (full-time or part-time)
Running a project or organization
