About this opportunity

The GSP is the UN’s longest‑running educational initiative, offering graduate students a chance to deepen their understanding of the UN system and “International Geneva.” The 2026 theme is “AI and Emerging Technologies: Realities, Risks and Opportunities.”

Benefits include:

Lectures, presentations, and group work with UN officials and experts
Visits to Geneva‑based institutions (UN agencies, NGOs, missions)

Who can apply

Age 22–32 at time of application
Completed a Bachelor’s degree and currently enrolled in a graduate programme (Master’s, MBA, PhD, post‑doc, or similar)
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Not employed full‑time
Application must include:
CV (max. 1 page)
Motivation video (max. 60 seconds)
Recommendation letter (max. 1 page)
Copy of passport (or national ID for EU/EFTA nationals)
Bachelor’s diploma
Proof of current graduate enrolment
Selection based on academic success, extracurricular/professional activities, motivation, and recommendation
