The fellowship is remote and part-time, about one to two working days a month from November 2026 to December 2027. **What you get:** - A stipend of EUR 1,800 for the full cycle, paid in two instalments of EUR 900 (mid-cycle, indicatively June to July 2027, and December 2027) - A mandatory three to four day in-person meeting in January or February 2027, with travel, accommodation and meals covered in full by SALTO PI - Bylines: your work is published on the Participation Resource Pool under your own name, Open Access - Onboarding in SALTO PI's house style, templates and design workflow, so no prior design experience is needed - A possible invitation, all expenses paid, to the Participation Forum in Tallinn at the end of 2027 - A fellowship agreement documenting the experience and skills gained **What you'll do:** - Co-write the Editorial Board's editorial strategy and agree your desk's priorities with your mentor - Propose and produce your own items: short analyses, case studies, interviews, opinion pieces, one-pagers and infographics - Scan your sector for useful publications and tools, write short assessments of them, and keep existing entries accurate - Lead, with the other fellows, three projects improving the platform: a plain-language documentation rewrite, a user review and a concept for the next cycle - Share at least a quarter of the Board's published materials in your own networks and run the dissemination campaign you propose in your application - Attend a monthly session with your mentor and a monthly online plenary **Key dates:** - Applications close 8 November 2026 at 23:59 Tallinn time - Evaluation and selection: 9 to 13 November 2026; if you have not heard by 22 November 2026, consider the application unsuccessful - Kick-off and fellowship agreements: second half of November 2026 - Online onboarding: late November 2026 to January 2027 - In-person meeting: January to February 2027, dates and location to be confirmed - Cycle ends: December 2027 **More information:** - Only one fellow is chosen per sector, six in total, with a reserve list for each sector - Applications are scored on sector experience, motivation and education (50%), proposed topics and dissemination campaign (25%) and a writing sample of up to 10 pages (25%) - You may apply for one or two sectors; each person may hold only one role on the Board - A separate call recruits experienced Sector Mentors for EUR 3,000; it is not for this audience - Questions go to christopher.radovici@harno.ee; the call gives the exact subject line to use
