The Race Equality Foundation's Safer Lives project supports parents of young people caught up in or at risk of youth violence and offending, and is evaluating whether backing parents improves outcomes for their children. It is hiring a Peer Researcher in London as the bridge between young people, families, the project team and the evaluators: explaining the research in plain language, building trust, keeping participants engaged and collecting information with care.
