About this opportunity

This program supports early‑stage startups in Latin America that are building solutions to prevent food loss, reduce waste, and improve resource efficiency. The fourth edition emphasizes innovations leveraging data and AI to optimize operations, anticipate risks, and strengthen food security. Selected startups will join a structured incubation with mentorship, financial coaching, and exposure to investors, culminating in an in‑person summit in Mexico City.

Who can apply

Must be legally incorporated and operating as a for‑profit entity in at least one Spanish‑speaking Latin American country
Must have a market‑based solution tackling food loss/waste
At least one full‑time founder based in Latin America
Must comply with local fiscal and business law
Must have a minimum viable product (MVP) and raised less than USD $1M in equity
Must show customer or business validation (pilot studies, users, partnerships, or revenue)
Focus areas include:
Consumer waste reduction (smart tech, shelf‑life optimization)
Process optimization (inventory traceability, demand planning)
Climate‑resilient production/distribution (cold chain, packaging, logistics)
Food loss/waste data infrastructure (measurement, ESG reporting)
Redistribution/circular utilization (repurposing surplus food)
Running a project or organization
Working (full-time or part-time)
