Up to £5,000 Ocean Culture Storytelling Grant

Ocean Culture Life, a charity registered in Jersey, gives Storytelling Grants each year to creators anywhere in the world who want to tell stories about the ocean. Grants come in three tiers, £1,000, £3,000 and £5,000, and you pick the tier that matches what your project costs to make where you live. Any format counts: film, photography, writing, illustration or audio, made solo or as a team.

What you get:

• A grant of £1,000, £3,000 or £5,000 for your ocean story
• A platform and support from Ocean Culture to bring the story to a wider audience

What you'll do:

• Pitch a story under one of three themes: Inspire, Educate or Protect
• Submit a written application, a 1 to 2 minute video pitch and a PDF of up to 2 pages with your budget, timeline and intended impact
• If selected, join quarterly check-in calls, share behind-the-scenes stills and video, deliver the finished project and a final impact report

Key dates:
