About this opportunity

Established by Sir Lewis Hamilton in 2021, Mission 44 is a charitable foundation working to ensure that every young person can thrive in school and access great careers in STEM. We invest in bold organisations, leaders and ideas, connect leaders to share learning and campaign for change. In building a fairer future for young people, we pursue three goals:

An inclusive education system in which young people are supported to succeed,
Opportunities to pursue great careers in STEM and motorsport,
Opportunities to take action and shape the world they live in.

Purpose: Recruit a new cohort of Youth Advisors to guide Mission 44’s work on equity, education, and opportunity. Role:

Advise Mission 44’s leadership and staff on strategy, programs, and grantmaking.
Represent youth perspectives in decision‑making.
Champion equity and inclusion in education and employment. Commitment:
12‑month term (2026)
Monthly meetings (virtual + occasional in‑person)
Approx. 5–10 hours per month Support:
Training and mentorship provided
Expenses covered for travel and participation Benefits:
Leadership experience
Direct influence on Mission 44’s programs
Networking with peers and professionals

Who can apply

Youth aged 18–25 living in the UK
Applicants aged under 18 years require permission from a parent or guardian to apply. You will be asked to provide a parent/guardian email address and phone number when applying.
Passionate about equity, education, and opportunity
Able to commit 5–10 hours per month for 12 months
Willing to participate in both virtual and in‑person meetings
