MediaNet International Centre for Journalism, a Kazakhstan media NGO, and the Berlin journalism network n-ost will send four journalists from Central Asia to the UN Climate Change Conference (COP31) in Antalya, Türkiye. Those selected spend seven days at the conference reporting on the negotiations and on climate issues that matter for Central Asia, with flights, accommodation and a daily allowance paid. **What you get:** - Round-trip airfare to Antalya - Accommodation for your 7 days at COP31 - A per diem (daily allowance) **What you'll do:** - Attend COP31 for 7 days and report on climate talks, international negotiations and issues relevant to Central Asia - Produce 3 pieces of journalism in any format: articles, video or audio - Share your COP31 work on your own social media - Take part in follow-up activities, including webinars and an interview for social media **Key dates:** - Applications close 13 October 2026 at 23:59 (the call says CET) - Selection on 14 October 2026 - Selected journalists apply for their COP31 media badge on 15 October 2026 - COP31 runs 9 to 20 November 2026 in Antalya, Türkiye **More information:** - The call and application form are published as a Google Form; neither MediaNet's nor n-ost's website carries the call - Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted
