Who can apply

Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status. You can apply from outside Canada only if you hold one of these
High school students: graduating in 2027 and entering university for the first time in September 2027. Students who graduated in 2026 and are taking a gap year can also apply
CEGEP students: in your last year of CEGEP and entering university for the first time in September 2027
A minimum cumulative average of 88% for high school students, counting Grade 10, 11 and 12 level courses only, or an R score of 29 or higher for CEGEP students
Averages of 86% to 88%, or an R score of 28 to 29, can be considered if you have faced significant barriers: email info@loranscholar.ca to explain your circumstances
