About this opportunity

Libra Philanthropies runs the Climate Cohort as part of its Rising Global Leaders programme, a nine month leadership and experiential learning fellowship for climate leaders aged 20 to 35 who already run a community-grounded climate initiative or organisation. Six to eight people are selected, and every travel and programme cost is covered. The year combines three in-person convenings, ending at the Concordia Annual Summit in New York City, with online workshops and tailored capacity-building for the work you already lead.

What you'll do:

Take part in peer reflection circles with the rest of the cohort
Lead discussions and workshops for Emerging Leaders, younger participants in the Rising Global Leaders programme

The application takes about 30 minutes plus a short recorded video introducing yourself and your climate work

Aged 20 to 35
Already leading or playing a significant role in a climate-focused initiative or organisation
The initiative or organisation must have at least one year of operating history and be nonpartisan, preferably with an annual budget under $500K
Work addresses climate change in ways grounded in the needs and experience of the communities served
Would benefit from capacity-building and is willing to collaborate and share learning
Able to commit about 100 hours over nine months, attend in-person convenings abroad and work in English
