The A.P.E. Fund is a Jane Goodall Institute of Canada microgrant that funds Roots & Shoots projects addressing the crossover of animals, people and the environment. Individuals and for-profit businesses are not eligible to apply directly
The project must take place in Canada
The project must address at least one, ideally all three, of biodiversity loss, environmental inequity and climate change
Applicants must indicate Qualified Donee or Non-Qualified Donee status and provide a Charitable Status Number where applicable
Previous recipients may reapply only if all prior reports have been submitted on time
The funding cannot be used for conference travel or registration, tuition, academic research for credit, scholarships or general operating costs
