About this opportunity

The fellowship strengthens the collective voice of education philanthropy in shaping global policy. Programme features:

Duration: 9 months (Feb–Oct 2026)
Commitment: 2 days/week (flexible scheduling)
Location: Remote, with travel to up to 2 key events (e.g., Education World Forum, UNGA)
Reporting: Directly to IEFG Executive Director, with mentorship from advocacy specialists Key responsibilities:
Mapping advocacy intentions → assess member advocacy activities, government relationships, and assets
Strengthening collective presence → coordinate IEFG’s participation at major events, align messaging, and amplify impact
Building “Education Works” stories → compile case studies, video testimonials, and social media assets showcasing effective education philanthropy Professional development:
Mentorship from global education advocacy leaders
Training workshops and webinars
Attendance at IEFG Together 2026 in Jordan
Access to resources, reports, and networks

Early‑career professional with interest in global education, development, and advocacy
Strong research, writing, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and across time zones
Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks/events
Familiarity with education policy debates a plus (philanthropy experience not required)
