The Globe and Mail Foundation, the independent journalism charity linked to Canada's national newspaper, is choosing two emerging investigative or political journalists for a six-month, one-on-one mentorship with Robert Fife, the Globe's former Ottawa Bureau Chief. Who can apply

  • Must reside in Canada
  • No more than five years of reporting experience
  • A strong interest in investigative or political journalism
  • If employed by a media organisation, a letter of support from your editor
  • Submit a CV and a letter of interest of no more than 350 words
  • Two examples of published work
  • A brief statement of your goals for the mentorship and the reporting project or area you hope to develop
