About this opportunity

GivingTuesday and Games for Change are giving 20 groups $50 USD each to host an Impact Arcade, an event where people play games about real-world issues, talk about what they experienced, and plan action in their community. You can run one at your school, club, youth group, organisation or with friends, in person, online or hybrid, and you do not need to know anything about games.

What you get:

$50 USD, sent as a Giftogram gift card, for snacks, supplies, tech access or other event costs
The free Impact Arcade Guide, covering how to choose games, bring people together, run the conversation and plan action
Access to the Games for Change Games Directory to find games for your group

What you'll do:

Gather friends, classmates, club members or other young people in your community
Play games that explore issues your group cares about, from climate change and mental health to inequality and identity
Lead a reflection that connects the games to real-world issues
Help participants plan an action, on GivingTuesday (1 December 2026) or any time of year
Share your Arcade with #ImpactArcade or through GivingTuesday's story form

Key dates:

Applications close 31 October 2026 (the application form itself says 6 November; apply by 31 October)
Selected hosts are notified by 11 November 2026
