Verizon runs a free learning platform for small business owners called Small Business Digital Ready, and it gives cash away through it. Ten businesses are chosen every month from June to December 2026 to receive US$10,000 each, with LISC, a national non-profit, acting as the independent grant administrator that handles intake, review and payment. The part worth knowing before you start: the application only unlocks after you finish two free courses or events on the platform, and Verizon sets December 7, 2026 as the last day to complete them. **What you get:** - US$10,000 in cash, paid by ACH bank transfer, with nothing to repay and no reporting required - Free access to the Digital Ready platform whether or not you win: on demand courses, expert led coaching, peer networking and in person events, in English and Spanish - One application covers the whole year. Submit once and you stay in the pool for every remaining monthly selection through December 2026 - 70 grants are on offer through this national round, ten selected each month from June to December 2026 **What you'll do:** - Register a free account on Verizon Small Business Digital Ready - Complete any two free courses, virtual events including recorded ones, or eligible in person events, between January 1 and December 7, 2026. In person events only count if you scan the event QR code on site - Submit the grant application once it unlocks.
